A WEDNESDAY...

I generally hate or rather dislike wednesdays...the main reason is that i hav to wear my white uniform churidar...not that i hav anything against white churidars, but anybody would feel irritated if the top, botton and the shawl of the churidar is of different shades of white...different shades of white??? u may wonder natuarally...but if u just visit my home u'll see exactly wat i mean...But today morning was even worse...my churidar had suddenly developed bluish streaks on it!!!...Oh my God!...i was relly speechless wid anger...i sweared churidar..(bcos i generally dnt lyk dem...) and the ujala company (for inventing such a useless thing!!)...i poured some water on it and hung it to dry...thats when my dear frnd sent me a message..which goes like dis.."Hi! geethu...goodmorning and hav a wonderful day.." I felt relly relly angry wid him for sending such a meaningless message wen my day had started disastrously (poor frnd..he did'nt even knw my state of mind..)..after puting on a wet dress i went down searching for a pair of socks...and do u knw wat i ended up wid?? A designed sock and a plain one...dis was the limit!! i ransacked my cupboard as well as my sis's to find a like pair...and not surprisingly...i cud'nt find one...the clock was ticking...it was tym to leave...i put on the designed sock on one feet and the plain one on the oder..thats wen i realized that i had forgotten to polish my shoes...i put on the dirty shoes on and tuk my bicycle...i waved gudbye to mom...and started pedalling...and alas! i had a puncture in the back tyre...i got down, pushed the cycle to the workshop, missed the usual bus, reached skul late, earned a glare frm my teacher for the dirty shoes...and the wednesday had turned out to be an awful one..

  4. poor socks have a tough time everywhere.. they are neither cloth nor footwear, though they are covered they have to be clean.. and the daily journey between the mindless haste of the leg and the wooden shoe (which gets all the credit), then carrying all the stink the journey to the washing stone and the torture that follows, finally to the lonely cling on the clothesline, and back to the same old routine everyday... the only way they can rebel is by adamantly refusing to be white or whatever colour they are meant to be...
