HOME SWEET HOME

HOME..many great writers may define home to be a place filled with love and care. I am not contradicting their words..I too think its true..but in my house its in a different way...If u check our daily schedule you'll see what i mean..ok..

its 5.30..usually in ordinary households mothers would just have begun to stir..but in our 'extraordinary' household mom,dad and me would be up and about by this time...However my sis would still be fast asleep. Mon will be in the kitchen bustling over the stove and sink...she has to get to office early today..and dad would be ironing my sis's uniform and himself getting ready for office.
 And i would probably be running up and down the staircase..searching for a sock,my water bottle..or most likely...my record books..I turn on the tap (which is terribly slow) and play the music in high volume..(just imagine the state of mom and dad...and most importantly the neighbors...as temple songs + my music = total chaos)..Its 6 in the morning.."TURN THE VOLUME DOWN!!" yeah thats my mom's voice ringing..(even above the rock beat)..I obey and continue my endless search for lost books..
          At 7..its my sis's turn to wake up..she does it as slow as a snail..she takes her own time and finally leaves at a honk from her school van.
   By this time i would be walking around with a pair of ribbons in my hand and searching for a comb..(its one of the rare times i use one)..Mom starts tying my hair..Now get ready...wait for it..."your hair is so untidy...when was the last time you shampooed it"??!!..HERE it is..."Oh mom..i am late"...
i groan and finally stuff a dosa down my throat and gulp water and i run to open the gate...i run with one shoes on and the other foot bare..(of course i didn't get time to put it one...)
 In between all this...anybody may wonder..is there time to exchange words of love??
actually its a very genuine question...but i don't know how we manage it..
so THIS is my home sweet home...
